Victim's work bag taken in mugging

A 29-YEAR-OLD was mugged as he got out of his car in Long Eaton.

Police said two men threatened him with a small knife and demanded his black drawstring work bag.

The victim dropped the bag. The pair picked it up and ran off.

The incident happened at 12.30am yesterday in Wellington Street.

Officers said the pair headed towards Derby Road.

The bag contained nothing more than work clothes and officers believe the offenders may have dumped it nearby.
