UPDATED: Arrest made after helicopter tracks suspected burglar in Ilkeston
Derbyshire police's helicopter last night help track a man suspected of stealing thousands of pounds worth of goods and causing damage to four shops in an Ilkeston street.
The alleged offender was spotted by police coming out of a fire exit at the empty Focus DIY store in Waterside Retail Park in Station Road at around 11pm last night.

He was tracked by the helicopter team to a nearby canal towpath where officers on the ground made an arrest.
A 25-year-old, of Ilkeston, is currently being questioned and a police spokesman said detectives are linking the same man to a crime spree in the town on Monday.
