Wannabe stars are invited to shine at X Factor auditions
SINGERS are being urged to show off their X Factor when the smash-hit talent show's mobile auditions hit Derby next week.
The van will be touring towns and cities across the UK over the coming weeks as part of the show's search for the next pop superstar.
A team of scouts will be auditioning solo artists and singing groups from across Derbyshire from an as-yet-unannounced city centre location on Tuesday.
Usually, The X Factor asks hopefuls to attend auditions at large arenas in cities such as Nottingham, Manchester and London.

But this year, the production team decided to make it easier for artists across the country to have their shot at the live finals by visiting a string of new locations.
Take That singer Gary Barlow, who is one of the four judges on the show, said: "We want to make sure we find all the talent the country has to offer and the extra auditions allow even more people to try out."
This year, The X Factor rules have been changed to allow singers who have a management deal to audition for the show.
The mobile auditions will be open from noon to 4pm.
