The Rams' 2-0 victory over Manchester City was watched by 1,256 spectators on Tuesday night.

"We've had great support at all the games so far and to have over 1,200 at the Manchester City tie earlier this week was brilliant," said Wassall.

"Hopefully, we can get an even better turnout next week and it's another great opportunity for our fans to see the youngsters we have coming through the ranks."

Season ticket holders from both clubs can gain free entry for Friday's match, while admission for non-season ticket holders will be £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

The winners will meet either Hull City or Liverpool, who play their quarter-final on Tuesday, March 13, in the last four of the competition.

Derby's arch rivals Nottingham Forest are already through to the semi-finals, where they will face either Everton or Norwich City.
