Westfield Derby boss takes up new position in Notts
THE boss of the Westfield Derby shopping centre has left her post to take up a position in Nottingham.
Janine Bone has stepped down from her position as general manager at the shopping complex to take up the same role at Nottingham's Victoria Centre.
She initially came to Derby in 2008, shortly after the £340 million revamp of Westfield Derby was completed. In 2011, she was made regional centre manager for both the Derby centre and another of Westfield's outlets, the Broadmarsh, in Nottingham, until it was sold to Capital Shopping Centres.
The Victoria Centre, where she has taken up her new post, is owned by Capital. Mrs Bone said: "I'm looking forward to the challenges and exciting activity ahead for the business and the centre.
