Whatisit? Picture perfect perspectives
STRANGE angles, unusual perspectives and an eye for detail is this month's theme for our camera club members at TogsQuad in Derby.
On the third Thursday each month, local photographic enthusiasts meet at Quad in Derby Market Place to share images, learn new skills and network with like-minded people.
Each meeting has a theme and this one was "Whatisit?"
Members were tasked with presenting an everyday object in such a way that the viewer may not know instantly what it is.

The idea challenged our snappers to think a little differently and experiment with focus while making patterns and light work to enhance their work.
Derby Telegraph picture editor Victoria Wilcox said: "I was really impressed with the results and was surprised that I failed to guess them all!"
She added: "Taking a fresh look at an object in a creative way can make really interesting shapes and patterns.
"I hope it's satisfying for our snappers to use this arty approach.
"I feel it entices people to study their images more closely and this means that people enjoy the pictures for longer."
Our winner of the favourite image poll at the meeting this month was Gary Small from Derby with his striking photo. He wins top prize of cinesupper tickets for two for a movie of his choice at Quad for winning the vote from his peers.
Each picture puzzle certainly had our photographers guessing… but can you guess what they are?

Our next meeting is Thursday, March 21, from 7pm-9pm. The cost is £3 per ticket and booking at the Quad box office is essential as numbers are limited.
