Wheelie bin lid up an inch so no collection for me
BEFORE last Thursday I always thought what an excellent job our refuse collectors did, even though we do most of the work for them by segregating rubbish and wheeling the bins to the pavement.
Then there's the intrusion to our sleep at 6.30am.
I have been allocated two brown bins as I am surrounded by other residents' trees.
On this particular day, one bin was unemptied with a note saying the lid wasn't shut. It was opened the best part of an inch. The other bin disappeared.
