A WOMAN suffered whiplash injuries when two cars collided on Far Laund, Belper, on Sunday shortly before midnight.

A Fiat Punto hit a wall after the accident, which also involved a Peugeot 106.

Traffic jams were caused when a Ford Ka and Peugeot 406 collided on the A6 between Whatstandwell and Holmesford three hours earlier. Nobody was hurt.
