The competition coincides with the International Festival of Photography Format 13 – which is running in Derby until April 7.
Derby Telegraph and University of Derby Photography Week will run from April 1 online, in our paper and on the university's website.
It will be a chance for us to feature what we love about Derbyshire through photography.
The best images will be published in the Derby Telegraph during Photography Week and will also feature in The Derbyshire Magazine.
Pictures will be in a virtual exhibition once the contest begins, with content uploaded regularly during the entry period.
This showcase will be updated regularly with new entries as they are submitted.
We want to give you the chance to have your photos on display at the same time as some of the world's greatest photographers exhibited in our city at Format 13.
Please e-mail entries to photocomp@derbytelegraph. co.uk stating which category you are entering.
