Windswept bride photographer snaps up accolade
A DERBYSHIRE photographer snapped up third prize in a wedding picture contest with this stunning shot of a windswept bride.
Victoria Parkinson, who lives in Breaston, has been a wedding photographer for more than six years.
She entered the photo, taken of a couple in Huddersfield, in a competition run by website UK Wedding Belles.
She said: "For this picture my bride Samantha had a very clear idea of what she wanted on the day, should the weather allow it. She purchased the very long veil specifically for this shot."

Victoria beat more than 700 entrants to get third place with her picture of Samantha and Graham Hepworth.
She said: "My photographic style is modern but with a natural and romantic twist, however my brides always have a large input into how their big day is shot."
