Witnesses sought after attack outside city's council house
A CYCLIST is alleged to have punched a teenager outside Derby's Council House.
Police say the 19-year old victim had crossed Derwent Street at the zebra crossing and was stood outside the entrance of the Council House when he was approached by a man on a bike from the direction of Corporation Street.
The cyclist is alleged to have put the bicycle against the wall and punched the victim in the nose before riding off towards the Corn Market. The victim told police his alleged attacker is white, with short dark hair and was wearing a grey jacket, jeans and a rucksack.
The victim suffered pain and bleeding from his nose but it is not thought he sustained any serious injuries.

Police say the incident happened at around 8.40am on Tuesday, January 22.
