Witnesses sought to passport theft
POLICE have reissued an appeal for witnesses to a burglary in which a treasured passport belonging to the victim of a serial killer was stolen.
The item, taken from Dragonclaw tattoo parlour, Ripley, belonged to Ellen Frith, who was murdered in Nottingham in 2005.
The 26-year-old was one of three homeless women strangled by Mark Martin.
Her father, Allen Frith, 53, has offered a £5,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for the break-in.
A police spokeswoman said the burglary happened between 7.30pm on Thursday, February 25, and 9.30am the next day. Anyone with information should call 0345 123 3333.
