DARTS: Alvaston's Colin Osborne was knocked out of the PartyPoker.net European Championships last night.

The 'Wizard of Os' suffered a 6-4 first round defeat by Mark Walsh.

Osborne led 2-1 as the first three legs went against the throw and a superb 12-darter from the Derby man extended his lead to two legs.

He held a 4-2 advantage at one stage before Walsh produced a four-leg burst to take the match at the Sudbahnhof in Frankfurt, Germany.
