Woman appears in court after brawl
A WOMAN has been charged and a man arrested following a pub brawl in which a man had part of his nose bitten off.
The late-night fight in the Rising Sun, Willington, left five people injured including a 60-year-old man and 29-year-old woman.
A 22-year-old man underwent plastic surgery to reattach part of his nose after the fight on the evening of Boxing Day. Five police cars attended the incident.
Last night police said a 41-year-old woman had been arrested and charged with actual bodily harm on a 60-year-old man and assault on a 29-year-old woman who sustained bruises.

She is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on January 18.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested and questioned over an assault on a 45-year-old man who sustained facial and head injuries and an assault on a 21-year-old man. He was bailed pending further inquiries.
