Woman chases burglar after catching him trying to steal TV
A HOUSEHOLDER chased a burglar away after she caught him trying to steal a portable TV.
The woman came across the offender in the kitchen of her home at 10.30pm last night.

She and her husband had heard a noise as they watched television.
As she went into the kitchen she saw the burglar holding a small TV.

Police say he dropped it and ran out the back door of the property and the woman gave chase.
Her husband also tried to catch the man and the couple dialled 999.
The incident happened in Burton Road, Midway, and two men were arrested by police nearby.
They led officers to a nearby address where two other men were also arrested.
All are in their 20s and were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
The four men remain in custody this morning being questioned by detectives.
