Woman robbed of phone and jewelry

This is Derbyshire

A WOMAN was pushed to the floor and had her jewellery stolen during a robbery in Derby.

She was attacked by a group of men as she walked through St Peter's churchyard between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday.

The woman also had her mobile phone taken during the incident.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to call police on 0345 123 3333 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

    “Shouldn't we be focussing on the callous and cowardly nature of the men involved? It is not the Police's fault that these thugs roam our street and I doubt they take much notice of the Police if they were around anyway”

    “invisable police forces.i live in ilkeston,in the 60,s we had over 70 in the ikeston force,now we have less than 10 ,nice to be so well protected from the thugs that roam all our streets.the government should give themselves a pat on the back.with a baseball bat.”
