A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car crashed into the central reservation on the A38.

Paramedics and police officers were called to the accident on the southbound carriageway, near the A5121 junction at Burton, at 4.40pm yesterday.

The woman was taken to the Queen's Hospital, in Burton.

A spokeswoman for the police said her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
