Writing's on wall for vandalism
CHILDREN in Derby schools have made posters about how vandalism affects people.
Derwent Community School's year six won a competition organised by Derwent Safer Neighbourhood team.
The St Mark's Road school beat Beaufort Primary School, Derwent Community School, St Giles' Special School and Breadsall Hilltop Junior School. The winning poster will be created into a mouse mat and sent to participating schools.
Frances Glaze, head teacher of Derwent Community School, said: “Every child and adult at Derwent School enjoyed this competition and learned so many important messages about the need to take care of our community .”
