Derby County: Young Gunner on Rams' radar
DERBY County are eyeing Arsenal's Mark Randall as a possible loan signing.
But the 19-year-old is one of a number of young central midfielders on the Rams' list of targets.

Aston Villa's Barry Bannan is another after the Scot made 10 appearances in a loan spell with Derby last season.
Rams manager Nigel Clough has said he hopes to boost his squad with the loan signing of a young midfielder from a Premier League club.
Chairman of football, Adam Pearson, said: "Mark Randall is a player we are certainly aware of and falls into the bracket of the type we are looking to bring in on a long loan."
Randall is among the crop of talented reserve team players at Arsenal.
He has made 11 appearances for the Gunners' first team, four of them starts, and has appeared in the Premier League, Champions' League and the Carling Cup.
Randall, who captained Arsenal's reserves last season, made his first-team debut as a substitute in a Carling Cup third-round tie against West Bromwich Albion in October 2006.
He has also figured against Everton, Sheffield United, Wigan, Blackburn and Burnley in the competition as well as FC Twente and Porto in the Champions' League.
An England Under-17 and 18 international, he played 10 games for Burnley during a loan spell in 2008.
Derby borrowed Arsenal forward Nacer Barazite and West Ham United centre-back James Tomkins last season.
Middlebrough are reported to be eyeing a £3m move for Derby striker Rob Hulse but the Rams say they have received no phone calls or offers for the player.
"Rob is our player of the year, an important player for us and not one we are looking to sell," said Pearson.
"He is highly respected within the club and we rate him as probably the best centre-forward in the Championship."
DERBY'S Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday, August 29, will now kick off at 1pm and not 3pm, at the request of the police.

“Zippy ( chad ) Dont you ever stop moaning Do you honestky think that Mr gadsby and the other 4 walked away without getting their money back some £30 million at least Where do you think the money came from to pay them back Yes Mr Pearson has made misjudgments but no one was screaming when he bought Jewell in he had the pedigree but it just did not work out Weve got to go through this transitional period now before we can move forward again I can not say im completely happy with the investment from the Yanks but the only way they are going to get any return is if we return to the Prem they will not do it while we are in the Championship”

“Zippy, you seem to have a problem with Pearson for some reason. I think he is doing a great job. some people need a reality check. We are not a rich club and maybe never will be, if we have to sell Hulse it will not be a good decision as i think he is a fantastic player. People sometimes have to make hard decisions based on many factors that we are not aware of. That may not make them popular with some fans but it is there job to run the club and ours to support it. if we do not like the things they do you have the choice to go and watch the RAMS or read the report in the paper. The choice is yours i will be there next season and the season after and the season after that, nomatter who is in charge or who is playing for us. ( I hope hulse doesnt go but if he did don't blame pearson eh ) D.T.I.D.”

“But you will sell him given half a chance.
Poor old Pearson first he gets investors that don't invest but at least they offer him a place on the board. Next he replaces Davies with Jewell(oh dear). Then he is one of the last people in Derby (or is it Leeds?) to realise what a clown Jewell is.
Now he has to pay the players he signed on long contracts to play for other clubs.
A lesser man would have walked away but not our Adam.”
