They never recovered from a two-goal salvo by Chris Dawson in the first 10 minutes of the match.

Leeds captain Alex Mowatt made it 3-0 from the penalty spot before half an hour had gone and there was to be no way back from there.

Burton did hit back, with Leandro Brown denied by keeper Eric Grimes seconds before Ben Cowdrill capitalised on some sloppy defending to pull a goal back.

However, Dawson completed hit hat-trick from the spot after an hour and late goals from Afolabi Coker and Eoghan Stokes rounded off Leeds' win.
