Youngsters benefit from coaching session by England boss Roy Hodgson
DERBY County's Academy squad recently got the chance to be coached by England boss Roy Hodgson.
The Rams youngsters took part in a training session under Hodgson's guidance at St George's Park last week.

Academy manager Darren Wassall described it as a "great experience" for the players.
"John Peacock, the England under-17 coach, contacted us and asked us to supply 20 players for a session with Roy Hodgson," said Wassall.

"He was coaching in front of the current UEFA Pro Licence candidates – people like Gary Neville and Paul Ince were all down there, so it was really good.
"We took them down and Roy put on a great session for the lads.
"It was a great experience for our players to be coached by the England national team manager.
"Hopefully, it will stand them in good stead for the future."

“It's these kinds of opportunities which really show the advantage of having St George's Park so close to us.
It must've been a real source of inspiration for our youth players to be coached by the England manager and other senior members of the England setup. You'd hope that this type of thing could be rolled out and offered to clubs across the country as part of the FA's commitment to grass roots football.”
