A GANG of teenagers snatched a man's bag as he walked home.

He was walking in Kiwi Drive, Alvaston, at about 8.30pm on Monday when he was approached by the group of six, who were wearing dark clothes and riding bikes.

They took his bag, which contained an iPod and mobile phone, and made off.

Police officers, including the dog unit, were called to the scene. Two teenagers were later arrested on suspicion of robbery.
