ZAC Efron has posed with a naked woman in a new photo spread

"It was definitely different from anything I had ever done before," the 21-year-old High School Musical star says in an interview accompanying the photo spread for the April issue of Interview magazine.

And it seems Zac is keen to leave his clean-cut Disney image behind even further when it comes to new projects.

"You know, everything I've done in the past has felt very safe, and it was great for a while, but now I'm looking for a place to take chances," he says.

"I want to play with things."

"Most of the directors I'd want to work with don't even know who I am," he adds.

"Their daughters might."
