Zola frustrated – but sure that Brewers are heading the right way
CALVIN Zola says he is convinced misfiring Burton Albion will come good if they keep playing the way they have been in the last three matches.
And the Brewers' lanky Congolese striker applies that philosophy to his own game, too, as he comes to terms with having missed the chances which could have won last Saturday's game against Rotherham United, which ended 1-1.

Calvin Zola shows his frustration at missing a chance – but he has joined Billy Kee as Burton's leading scorer on 12 goals.
Zola scored Burton's goal and joined Billy Kee as leading scorer on 12 goals – but knows he should have put away two late chances to seal three points.
In the previous game, against Crewe Alexandra, he was also on target – but only in the 90th minute, with the hardest of several chances he had.
"Yes – he scored with his hardest chance, that's what people keep on saying!" said Zola.
"I had easier chances, which I think I should have done better with. The hardest one went in.
"But I'm not down about it because I had the same chances last week.
"I know myself I should have done better but I'm not one to hide behind anything, I just keep on going.
"This time I scored the hard chance and, hopefully, next week I'm able to score the easier chances as well.
"At the moment it is a bit frustrating because it sometimes doesn't go for you but as long as I keep on getting those chances, I'm sure we'll do well and they'll all go in – hopefully, that will be soon."
Zola remains in credit with all but the hardest-to-please Burton supporters, as he has consistently demonstrated a work ethic some suspected he might not possess.
And he says Burton's recent run of eight games without a win is not through a lack of effort.
"Everyone can see we are giving everything we've got, every game," said Zola.
"Sometimes in football it doesn't always go for you but I believe, personally, if you keep going, keep doing the right things, things eventually turn good for you.
"I believe the goals will come and we'll be able to push up the table. And I'm serious saying that, I really believe we should be up the table.
"We've been playing some good football.
"We just need a little bit of luck which, obviously, you cannot always have but, eventually, it will turn and that's what we're waiting for at the moment."
Zola says the Burton players are enjoying the flexible 4-1-2-3 system and short-passing game manager Paul Peschisolido has employed in the last few games.
"It's a new formation which is giving us a lot more possession and we're moving the ball very well," he said.
"Obviously, it's not quite going our way at the moment but you can see this new shape gives us opportunities to create chances.
"I'm sure if we keep playing that system and keep playing the way we've been playing, it will eventually fall for us.
"Everybody is enjoying it, everybody wants to get on the ball and nobody is hiding.
"We're creating a lot of space because of the way we play and the movement is very good, the commitment is very good.
"When we lose the ball it is hard for the opposition to break us down and everybody is loving it."
