We agree on Petersham Hall so why not use it?

I AGREE with the county councillor for Petersham that Petersham Hall is a great facility, as he states in his latest newsletter.

In light of this, I would like him to explain why his party chose to stop using it as a polling station. They moved the polling station to Trent College, despite accepting Petersham Hall is "central to the ward".

The report, submitted to Erewash Borough Council in December 2011, states: "The use of Trent College would ... raise awareness of electoral processes with the student population."

It is a shame they do this at the expense of the elderly constituents living close to Grasmere Road, who have a vote in the division.

And Grasmere is spelt with only one "s", not as you write in the newsletter.
