“Not sure why you two are being so picky - it's not like whenever there is a story where the Police are involved that they show ta picture of the back of the exact same officer with 'Police' on his uniform every time is it? ;-D”

“I think it's so important to have sub-titles on some photographs. I would have never have guessed what this photograph was about without "Fire engine" written underneath it. I agree with "WorriedJohn" that the Fire Engine here does look exactly the same as the one that went to the chimney blaze at South Normanton. This Fire Engine must be looking after the whole of Derbyshire to go to both Ilkeston and South Normanton. I have just read the chimney blaze was tackled from the roof – that's where we used to have chimneys when I was a child, up on the roof out of the way. My neighbour has his chimney in his kitchen and he has to carry the smoke outside in buckets.”
