We were the better side, says manager
MANAGER Nicky Law believed a point was the least Alfreton Town deserved from their tricky trip to Hereford United.
The Reds worked their way back from 3-1 down and though he was delighted with the spirit his side showed, Law remains concerned at the goals they are conceding.
"I thought in the first half we were the better team," said Law.
"They played all the direct stuff and I thought we dominated it but we gave a poor goal away from a corner.

"We responded but the second one's disappointing – a free header – and then to come out for the second half and concede again so early from two free headers gave us a mountain to climb.
"But, credit to the players, I thought we played some good stuff.
"That's as good a performance from a midfield four as I've seen. The back four were excellent and the two lads worked hard up front.
"We've played a good side but we've scored three goals and not won and that's disappointing – but we've shown great resolve again.
"We've conceded seven goals in the last three games and not one of them has been a good one.
"We are not making the opposition work hard enough to score against us."
