I VOTED for Chris Williamson for mainly personal reasons. We worked together in the same social services office in Derby many years ago. I was very impressed by his strong objection to blood sports in those days. I have a belief that people who are kind to animals are usually caring about human beings.

I wish him lots of good luck as MP for Derby North.
