Out-of-control pan fire triggers alert
A FIRE started in a frying pan and got out of control.
Crews from Nottingham Road and Ascot Drive fire stations were called to the blaze, in Saltburn Close, Chaddesden, at 7.10pm on Saturday.
They spent 10 minutes tackling the flames before ventilating the property.
In a separate incident, firefighters from Ilkeston were called to tackle an out of control bonfire in Skeavington Lane, Cotmanhay, at 1.10am yesterday .

Crews spent 15 minutes fighting the flames.
