“M.O.T Mr Clutch Derby. If you feel that you have ever been over charged or even charged for work that didn't need doing we would like to hear from you. Perfect example of this is when I took my car into MR clutch for a MOT and it unfortunately failed. when I picked the vehicle up and going through the list on what it failed on it suddenly dawned on me that some of the items on the refusal list where not common for a vehicle of 4 years old with low mileage and the price of £593 to repair it all gave me good reason to get a second opinion else where. so after taking it to another independent MOT station my car past with only 1 advisory which was good to hear, but going through the faults that Mr Clutch failed my vehicle on with the mechanic it was shocking to hear that Mr Clutch failed my car on two items that DIDN'T even exist on the vehicle which would of cost me £240 for nothing. they also failed my vehicle on the break disks and pads but its apparent from the new mechanic that I had at least another years worth on them breaks so £169 of unnecessary work yet again, Going forward the investigation into this matter is in the hands of VOSA and the police and if you feel that you have been scammed ,ripped off, over charged or just taken for a fool please leave your say so that together we can put a stop to their total disrespect for the public.”
