“I'm skint. Had a terrible year of business and earning just enough to pay the bills. We've made cutbacks everywhere just to survive. Would it make sense to give my neighbour down the street a couple of hundred quid towards his electricity?

    Would it ....?

Basic economics. Something our government can't grasp.

Great Britain is being run by rich, over-educated morons who have absolutely no idea of survival because they have never had to do it.”

“No, we should stop all foreign aid and support and be spending the money here, i'm sure pensioners, Police, NHS, and many more vital services would welcome a slight increase in their funding instead of cuts.

When have Africa or Columbia done anything for this country.”

poverty, taking benefits off those genuinely out of work ,causing hardship ,and reveling in it.”

It is all very well for champaign socialists to defend this spending, but for the rest of us, this is something we cannot afford and do not want.”

“This policy was introduced by millionaires in the last Labour Government:

" These priorities can be seen reflected in specific funding pledges made in the new manifesto. They include: £8.5 billion over eight years "to help more children go to school"; £6 billion on global health between 2008 and 2015; £1 billion through the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; £1 billion "for water and sanitation by 2013"; and "over £1 billion on food security and agriculture."

What "global warming" ? Didnt you know, it's now called "climate change" because "global warming" was proven to be a lie.
Of course, another word for "climate change" is WEATHER, something as old as the earth.

“Step back and think about this for a moment.

Where does' almost every resource you see around you come from? In a majority of cases the resources come from abroad. It is a fact that a majority of the world commodities come from developing countries.

Foreign 'aid' is not just handing money over to other countries, it is actually an investment in order to be able to access the resources that we use from day to day. Stop investing in the places where our resources come from, and it will have drastic consequences.”

The biggest threat to this country is ignorance. Recession? Do me a favour.

How many McDonalds have closed down recently? What about KFC and the other food stuffs of the unenlightened? Starbucks was still rammed with Latte drinking pond life, despite admitting that it paid virtually no tax.

“@Rob09, this may "only" represent one thousandth of Government spending, but how many of the poorer people in the UK could benefit from £2billion being spent here at home rather than some third world country, which may even be funding its own space programme?

It is always the same with left wing thinkers, give our money away and open up our borders to whoever wants to come here, regardless of whether they have a job to come to. We are a small island with limited resources, the more people who come to live here, the more strain is put on those resources and our environmental limitations.”

“Remember that if you vote for any of the big 3 (or maybe even 4 with UKIP) you won't be changing local or national issues.

If you want to change your lifestyle you'll have to vote local, but it could prove disastrous for you/your community.

There is not a single large political party that looks after the interests of the country it resides in, whether Britain, American, Africa or Asia - we now only have a select bunch of global players with us as the pawns.

Reversing this will be more painful that people think (if it ever happens) but will mean the next generation(s) have a better, less bitter, life.”
