Engineering celebration

SEVERAL Derbyshire schools will take part in a celebration of engineering next week.

Teams of sixth formers from Derby High School, Eckington School, Lady Manners School, Landau Forte College, Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, St Mary's High School and Swanwick Hall School are taking part.

Each team has been working on engineering projects with local companies as part of the Engineering Education Scheme.

They will present their work at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham, on Tuesday.








Friday 30 October, 10am - 3pm

Saturday 28 November, 10am - 3pm


Part time, professional and postgraduate open days


Tuesday 8 September–5pm to 8pm at the Derby Campus
