A Rwandan dance night

Friday, October 03, 2008, 07:30

A RWANDAN theatre and dance group will be at a secondary school tonight, from 7.30pm.

The Mashirika group will work with pupils at Ecclesbourne School during the afternoon and give a performance in the evening.

The group consists of nine actors and a director, who fled from the genocide in Rwanda a few years ago.

A school spokeswoman said: "It promises to be a fantastic evening of thought-provoking entertainment."

Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
