Welcome to the University of Nottingham's School of Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy!

The University's School of Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy, based at Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, provides a variety of nursing courses including the Graduate Entry Nursing course, the BSc (Hons) Nursing Adult field of nursing, and the Midwifery shortened programme for registered nurses.

Whilst studying on these courses, we ensure our nurses receive practical experience at both the London Road Community Hospital and the Royal Derby as well as in several large psychiatric hospitals and in smaller community hospitals and units.

We are dedicated to building and maintaining close working relationships with the local providers of health care, whether that is with the acute sector, the wide range of mental health care provision, or the primary care sector.
