Raise a glass to trio

THREE of the most respected country singer-songwriters of today – Suzy Boggus, Matraca Berg and Gretchen Peters – are to band together for a night of Wine Women and Song at Buxton Opera House on Friday, May 29, at 7.30pm.

Award-winning Suzy Bogguss achieved huge chart success in the 1980s and 90s, releasing one Platinum and three Gold albums and six Top 10 singles.

Gretchen Peters' intelligent and introspective songs have been covered by pop, country, blues and folk artists all over the world.

Matraca Berg's songs have been recorded by artists as diverse as Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Tanya Tucker and Marie Osmond and she received critical acclaim with albums such as Lying To The Moon and Bittersweet Surrender as well as singles including I Got It Bad.
