Showbiz: Empire's right back (with Star Wars trailer)

GEORGE LUCAS reckons that he will be releasing his Star Wars films in 3D.

"We did some experiments with a company to take the old Star Wars films and make them into 3D," says George.

"It was unbelievably expensive and took a huge amount of time. So we've been working ever since on developing the technology and improving it so then we can do it for a reasonable amount of money and a reasonable amount of time.

"They won't be all released at once, but once we start, we want to be able to make sure all six get released, but that will happen."
