A FAREWELL TO FLOYD Tonight, BBC Two, 9.05pm

In an age when many TV shows seem to feature a chef waxing lyrical about the art of cooking, there's a good bet that without Keith Floyd, many of them would never have made it on to TV in the first place.

Here, Rick Stein, Marco Pierre White and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall pay tribute to the maverick chef who left an indelible mark on the minds and hearts of millions, before dying on September 14.

CHARLEY BOORMAN: SYDNEY TO TOKYO, BY ANY MEANS Tomorrow, BBC Two, 9pm

No longer just famous for being Ewan McGregor's mate, Charley Boorman has well and truly found his feet as an adventurer and travel writer.

Last year, Charley went solo for a series that saw him travel through 25 different countries.

Now he returns for more in this second series, which sees him take to the road once again, using local transport to get him to his location.

RICHARD WILSON – TWO FEET IN THE GRAVE Tuesday, BBC1, 10.45pm

Nineteen years after accepting the lead role in One Foot in the Grave and nine after his character, Victor Meldrew, was killed off on screen, you might think Richard Wilson had come to terms with his own mortality.

In this documentary, he does his best to answer his own question: "I'm 72 but, like the vast majority of us, I've done nothing to prepare for my demise. Why don't we make plans?"
