Four-fifths of staff at hospitals happy with care they give
FOUR out of every five members of staff working for Derby's hospitals said they were satisfied with the care they were giving patients, a survey has revealed.
And figures show nine out of 10 employees felt there were "equal opportunities" available for them when it came to promotion or career progression.
The results were part of a national survey answered by NHS staff about whether or not they would recommend receiving treatment at their hospitals to relatives and friends. It was carried out by staff at the city's hospitals trust in autumn 2012, with the data collected and published this year by the National NHS Staff Survey Co-ordination Centre.
The figures also showed that 89% of staff felt their role makes a difference to patients and 80% believed they received training, learning or development relevant to their job

“"FOUR out of every five members of staff working for Derby's hospitals said they were satisfied with the care they were giving patients, a survey has revealed."
GREAT, NOW ask the nurses YES THE NURSES ( you know the ones that do the work) NOT THE OFFICE STAFF. Nurses will always give their all to the patients in their care but, now do a survey of the working conditions nurses have to work in. 12 1/2 hour shift with 1 hour UNPAID break. mostly understaffed on the ward. while your doing your survey check out how many have been of sick with injurys to their back, knees, shoulders etc caused by lifting etc.Do a survey on how many times a ward has been working understaffed.”
