highly recommended...5 star
“very cool place to shop..wud surely come again...i dont understand why some people have given negative reviews...i booked an appointment to do my hair and they were very professional on the phone...when i entered the shop i was greeted nicely...i bought the hair at a reasonable price...then i was escorted to the saloon upstairs...i had to wait for my turn as the hair dresser was busy...in the mean time, one of the staff from downstairs asked me for tea or coffee...on my affirmation, the guy brought coffee from outside as the coffee machine wasnt working...he also said sorry coz i had to wait...but after 5 mins, my turn came...the hair dresser seemed to by friendly as well..she did my hair perfectly..on my way out i was thanked for visiting...now that demonstrated a professional working place with a good and friendly atmosphere...now i truly have no idea of the bad experiences of other people but mine was excellent...i also recommended the shop to my friends and they had the same good experience...all in all - highly recommended...will surely visit again...many thanks...”

Don't bother
“I went here for a relaxing??? massage, it would have been more relaxing on a bench in the Westfield! The salon was a small cubicle of curtains in a hair salon, and when I asked about the noise from their radio and the loud voices talking I was told there is nothing they can do. I was offered to return early the next morning before the hair salon opens, but as I had taken time off work and do not live in Derby city I did not, nor would not want to return again. I asked if the bright lights could be subdued, but again was told that the lights have to stay on for the hair salon. I was not given a health questionnaire by the therapist. I did not feel that the therapist understood what a relaxing massage should be compared to the many others I have tried over the years. Relaxing, not a hint! Don't bother! I would not rate this 1 star but it is the only way a review can be entered.”

Divine?
“I don't know who has wrote the good reviews about this place? Probably the staff! Terrible customer service, hospitality and surroundings. It's worth paying an extra few pounds to go to somewhere decent! Not recommended at all.”

Beauty therapy @ divine hair and beauty
“Had a facial and massage as part of a groupon offer, I found the staff unprofessional -they dont even say hello when you ring them up! The whole Salon/beauty area was unkempt and unclean, I dread to think if the towels were even clean. The beautician was extremely nice but I felt uncomfortable and exposed as the beauty room is only partitioned by a curtain. Half way through the massage she left me to thread someone's eyebrows! I would not go back here again! ”
