A homecoming for Su as she joins Annie cast
SU POLLARD will star as Miss Hannigan in the musical Annie, on at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, next month.
It will a homecoming for Su, who hails from the city and is best known as the put-upon Peggy in the TV series Hi De Hi!

The show has a memorable score which includes It's A Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and, of course, Tomorrow, and tells the story of Annie's journey from Miss Hannigan's orphanage to the luxurious home of Oliver Warbucks.
Appearing as Daddy Warbucks, the billionaire businessman whose heart is melted by the irrepressible Annie, is David McAlister, whose TV credits include Hollyoaks, EastEnders and Brideshead Revisited.
The show will be in Nottingham from September 14-19, with performances at 7.30pm nightly and matinees on Wednesday at 2pm and Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets are £11-£26 (concessions available) on 0115 989 5555.
