Two injured in three-car accident at A52 slip road

POLICE were forced to close part of St Alkmund's Way in Derby following a three-car collision.

The incident happened yesterday on the slip road to the A52.

Firefighters from Kingsway and Ascot Drive stations made the vehicles safe after they were called to the incident at 1.50pm.

One male casualty was trapped by his injuries and was dealt with by the ambulance service. Another ambulance crew dealt with a second injured person.
