Nothing but kindness from younger people
DON SHAW'S letter "Evidence of ageism in society in hospital stay" shocked me.
For much of the quarter century I have been living in Derby, I have been an old man. For many years I have been treated with nothing but kindness by younger people. This was certainly true 18 months ago when I was in the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary.
Mr Shaw's experiences are almost certainly atypical.
