I FELT much better seeing Frank Fielding back between the sticks for the Leicester game.
He should have been our number one all year. Hopefully, he will stick around to be our number one next season.
A calming head shielding the back four is a must this summer and please, please, please, can we conduct our transfer activity without first having to sell off our best assets, like last summer?

BOTH Frank Fielding and Adam Legzdins are very good keepers.
I marginally prefer Fielding because he is a better shot stopper, with sharper reflexes.
Neither of them are great on crosses but, hopefully, this improves with experience.
NIGEL Clough will go with Adam Legzdins every time as he is an old Burton Albion boy!
Legzdins has made more than the odd mistake, yet he kept being picked. Other players make one mistake and are dropped forever!
I THINK Kieron Freeman is being groomed as the replacement for John Brayford, perhaps not next season but the season after.
If a good offer comes in for Brayford, I can see Derby looking to cash in.
I keep saying this but we need a physical ball-winner who sits in a defensive role in our midfield.
We need to play with three central midfielders and two wingers.
"The problem is, only two of Hughes/Bryson/Hendrick can play in that system, as neither of them is a holding defensive midfielder.
I AGREE that Kieron Freeman is a good prospect but, at this moment in time, John Brayford is 10 times the player.
In fact, I would go so far to say Brayford is our best player by quite a way.
It would be like selling Messi and replacing him with Conor Sammon!
THE fact that Kieron Freeman is such a good prospect and how he has done so well in the first team this season does make me think John Brayford will be allowed to leave if we get a half decent offer.
AT least the Richard Keogh and Jake Buxton knockers will have eaten humble pie after the Leicester City game.
