442 – THE FOOD FORMATION

THE efforts of 59 infant, junior and primary schools across Derbyshire, along with the help of two play groups, saw the Derby Lions Club make up 442 food parcels.

They were distributed to various charities and organisations, which deliver the parcels to people in need.

The following groups benefited from this year's food parcels: The Liversage Trust (40 parcels), Social Services in Derby (60), Age Concern (40), Sinfin Community Church (20), Derby Night Shelter (60), Victim Support (12) and Guinness Trust (25).

Other groups to benefit were Women's Work (40), Derwent First Contact (30), Young Carers (10), Alvaston Baptist Church (20), Alvaston United Reformed Church (10), Rebecca Court Women's Refuge (30), The Queen's Hall (30) and Jericho House (15).
