Too little, too late Sports
A ROUSING fightback was far too late to save Mickleover Sports as they crashed to a heavy Evo-Stik Division One South defeat at Stamford.
Sports took the lead through Eric Graves after 14 minutes following a good spell of pressure but the lead lasted barely a minute.
A cross from Danny Brooks was converted by James Ozman and, 60 seconds later, Gary King put them ahead.
Stamford completed a turn-around when, after 21 minutes, King made it 3-1.

Just over a minute after the interval, Jake Gibson volleyed in and Louis Hamilton added a fifth for Stamford after 58 minutes with a lob from the edge of the box.
Rob Ritchie-Smith pulled one back with a crisp finish after 77 minutes and Sports hit the woodwork twice in the closing stages.
