TAKING its title from a love poem written by John Keats for Fanny Brawne, this is the story of the pair's affair.

The tuberculosis-ridden Keats is struggling for recognition and fighting poverty when he finds himself living next door to the Brawne family in Hampstead in 1819.

Vibrant 18-year-old Fanny Brawne is stylish, energetic and emotionally charged. She has many suitors and is expected to marry well. Her quick wit attracts the attention of the talented Keats.

Despite opposition from almost all around, their initial flirtation quickly develops into a passionate love affair.

But in a world where money and status rule over true love, do they stand a chance?

For the Midweek Treat, Qt has joined forces with Quad to bring midweek matinees to city cinema-goers.

Each Wednesday at 2pm the Derby Telegraph's film critic Nigel Powlson will introduce a new film for you to enjoy for a bargain admission price of £5 (£4 concessions) including a free tea or coffee and biscuits.

NEXT WEEK: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (Cert 12A) on Wednesday, November 25 at 2pm.
