“there seems to be a lot of accidents in and around sinfin lane i dread to think how bad it would get if an incinerator gets built the amount of lorries coming in from as far as south shefield buxton and many other area s it would be mayhem and a lot more accidents”

“The junction between Wragley Way and Deepdale Lane is one of the worst, if not the worst and most dangerous in Derby, with numerous accidents over the years.
When you drive down Wragley Way towards Deepdale Lane, the end of Wragley Way just seems to disappear into fields, catching out the unaware driver, especially at night.
The City Council needs to address this ongoing problem before somebody is killed.
It isn't a question of speed - the real answer would be to erect proper signage stressing the danger aspect.
If the City Council failed to make this junction safe for drivers, after being warned, I'm sure they would leave themselves open to legal action by the unfortunate drivers.
Yes, everybody should drive with due care and attention, but believe me, these accidents keep happening at this place, the last a few weeks ago.”
