Essential-ly, it has been a great year

A MARKETING company in Derbyshire is celebrating good growth in its first year in business, despite the credit crunch.

Essential Marketing Solutions was set up by Sharon Stevens-Cash, of Aston-on-Trent.

In her first year, the company has worked with 12 clients – and is now celebrating by winning a contract with Arts Derbyshire along with Essential New Media, a company run by her sister, Deborah Porter.

Sharon said: "I had no idea how things would work out.

"I am not denying that I have never worked so hard in my career.

"But now I am really excited about the future."

One of her clients is Marketing Derby, whose director John Forkin said: "Sharon is obsessed with delivering what's right for the customer and adds considerable value to any project."
