Police appeal for witnesses after Derby bag snatch

A THIEF snatched a bag from a woman in a Derby cemetery.

The 29-year-old victim had been visiting Nottingham Road Cemetery, Chaddesden, when her white shoulder bag was stolen. It held two mobile phones, cash and cosmetics.

The thief who grabbed the bag is described as a young white male, dressed in a black outfit with his hood up. He fled in the direction of Walpole Street.

Anyone with information about the theft at 8.30am yesterday should call police on 0845 123 3333.
