£6m investment in chicken firm staff
A COMPANY with a chicken processing plant in Ashbourne is to invest £6 million in training its staff.
Moy Park will use the money to run leadership and management training, promote skills development in teamwork and improve innovation, service, productivity and use of IT.
The business, which processes locally farmed chicken, employs 10,500 people across 14 production sites in the UK and Europe.
Chief executive Nigel Dunlop said: "Our objective is to be the most effective, efficient and safe organisation of our kind in Europe."
